May note from the HOA President

VW Community,

Here’s a few things I should tell you. I apologize for being so extremely busy as not to communicate as often as I should.

Since I’ve written last the board finalized the colors to be used in further house painting and repairs in preparation for further painting are underway. How many units we are able to paint this year depends on ongoing budget discussions.

This month’s VW Board meeting is coming up at 7pm on the 19th. If you would like to address the board, we request that you let us know the topic in advance so we can put you on the agenda.

We’ve recently received the Reserve Study we commissioned and setting up a time to present the study to the community and initiate discussion will be on our agenda. In extreme brief summary, the engineer found more to fix than we currently have reserve funds to pay for. Management is preparing numbers so that we can evaluate special assessment and loan options.

Other topics on the board agenda will likely include a presentation about our re-done website at , contracts for one or more landscaping companies, and the architectural control committee, progress on a printed homeowner/resident directory, our community newsletter, proposed doors for the Ridge Trail dumpster area, a report on the decks, and gutter repairs.

The social committee is throwing a pool-opening party this Saturday the 16th.
